ANC Commissioner Keith Silver was acquitted earlier today for his arrest in a protest near the Capitol earlier this year. A big thank you goes to him for his courage to stand up for us and to Johnny Barnes from the ACLU for the National Capital Area who defended Mr. Silver. Bart Turner was also arrested the same day in a separate event but his charges were dropped earlier this year. Wouldn’t it be nice if we had more Keith Silvers & Bart Turners taking to the streets & standing up for our rights?
